Scott Calhoun is a professor of English at Cedarville University and a staff writer for @U2, the leading and critically-respected news and opinion site covering U2. He created and directs The U2 Conference and is a curator for the exhibit U2: Made in Dublin at The Little Museum of Dublin. His teaching and research interests are in literature, rhetorical theory, narrative studies, fandom practices, and the production and reception of popular culture. He was named the 2015 Faculty Scholar of the Year at Cedarville University, edits the Tempo series on popular culture and music for Rowman and Littlefield, and edited the collections Exploring U2: Is This Rock ‘n’ Roll? (Rowman & Littlefield, 2011), U2 Above, Across and Beyond: Interdisciplinary Studies (Lexington Books, 2013), and U2 and the Religious Impulse: Take Me Higher (Bloomsbury, 2018).
