Herbie is the Senior Pastor and Head of Staff of Philadelphia Presbyterian Church in Charlotte, NC. He holds a PhD in Theology from the University of Dayton’s Department of Religious Studies. At the church he leads the staff, works with the church’s leaders to create a vision for the congregation, and engages members and the community in meaningful worship and teaching opportunities. His academic interests center on historical theology and American Christianity, especially the nineteenth century.
